Cream Cheese Banana Bread Recipe

I love Banana Bread. When I found this version with cream cheese added in, I knew I had to try it! I really like how it turned out and it's a nice change from the recipe I usually make! I always have ripe bananas waiting in the freezer to be used, so I really need to keep an eye out for some more banana recipes to make soon!

What you need:
3/4 c. butter, softened
1- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl mix butter, cream cheese and sugar using an electric mixer. Mix until well blended then add the eggs. In another bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry, do not over mix. Once the dry ingredients are mixed with the wet, then add bananas and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes to one hour or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Enjoy!

  3. Hmm ... Not working out too well so far. The recipe never notes what size pan should be used. I used a traditional loaf pan and the bread has puffed beyond its rim and is still wet and gooey in the center after 60 minutes while the top is nearly getting burnt.
