You'll never want store bought chip dip again after trying today's recipe!

I first made this dip for a jewelry party and it was a hit! I've made it many times since then and it's still a favorite of almost anyone who tries it.

What makes this dip so good? The caramelized onion and garlic! The sweetness from them being caramelized is a perfect pair with the tangy sour cream and cream cheese.

This dip reminds me of store bought french onion dip, but way better and so much more affordable too!

You can serve this dip with potato chips, bread cubes, vegetables or crackers! I totally forgot to put potato chips on my grocery delivery order and only had some left in the bottom of the bag, so we also ate it with some Bugles too when I was taking these photos.

No matter what you pair this dip with, it will be tasty!
