This Chicken Parmesan Rice Skillet can be ready in 30 minutes and is so tasty! You can make it a complete meal by serving with some veggies or a salad on the side.
I am so blessed my daughter is an adventurous eater and is willing to try everything I make. She does great for a 5 year old. This recipe turned out to be an instant favorite for both her and I! Enjoy!
Chicken Parmesan Rice Skillet
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium to medium high heat. Saute the garlic and chicken for about 4-5 minutes, add the mushrooms and saute for another few minutes. Add salt and pepper if desired.
Add the rice and broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add parmesan and basil, simmer for an additional 5 minutes or until rice is cooked through and liquid is absorbed.
