scoop of beef in a slow cooker.

Life is always busy. We always rely on our slow cooker at home to do the cooking for us when we have a lot going on.

Our local grocery store has a meat section that's 5 for $20 and beef stew meat is always something I grab when I'm doing my shopping. The rest of the ingredients in this recipe are usually found in my fridge and pantry, so I can pretty much make it any time.

If I don't have jalapeno ketchup, I just use regular instead. The flavor is great either way and you can make it spicy or not.

The flavors in this spicy beef are rich and SO delicious! It's wonderful served with mashed potatoes, rice or even pasta. The prep is super quick and the beef turns out so fall apart tender.

It makes a regular appearance on our dinner menu and the leftovers are such a great lunch the next day.
