Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders are the ultimate game day comfort food. Warm, cheesy, and packed with flavor in every bite. Made with creamy ranch seasoned cream cheese, tender chicken, crispy bacon, green onion, and melty cheddar tucked into soft Hawaiian rolls, these sliders are also often called “Crack Chicken Sliders” thanks to how addictively good they are.
The first time I brought these to a game day party, I barely set the pan down before people were hovering. Someone asked for the recipe mid bite and by halftime the dish was completely empty. Let’s just say these sliders have officially earned their spot as my "you better bring those again" party staple. These sliders disappear fast, so doubling the recipe isn’t overkill, it’s just being prepared.

Recipe tips and substitution ideas:
- For best results, use softened cream cheese so it melts smoothly and mixes easily with the seasonings. Rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut and adds extra flavor, while cooking the bacon until crisp helps it hold up in the creamy filling. Covering the sliders with foil while baking keeps the rolls soft, and removing it at the end gives just enough golden color. For the best melt and creamiest texture, use freshly shredded cheese instead of pre shredded, which can contain anti caking agents that prevent smooth melting.
- You can easily customize these sliders by using Colby Jack or mozzarella instead of cheddar, or swapping the bacon for turkey bacon. Cooked chicken thighs work just as well as chicken breast for extra juiciness, and slider buns or dinner rolls can replace Hawaiian rolls if you prefer less sweetness.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders
Also known as Crack Chicken Sliders, these cheesy, buttery sandwiches are dangerously good and disappear fast. Bring them to game day and don’t be surprised when everyone asks for the recipe.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 1 ounce ranch seasoning mix
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
- 2 1/2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast
- 1/3 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 count Hawaiian rolls
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- sliced green onion, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over low to medium heat, add the cream cheese and heat until softened and starting to melt.
- Stir in the ranch seasoning mix, onion powder, black pepper, and garlic powder, folding until smooth and well combined.
- Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a large mixing bowl. Add the green onion, chicken, bacon, and half of the shredded cheese, then fold until evenly combined.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the roll bottoms. Sprinkle with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the filling.
- Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the rolls are lightly golden.
- Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl for about 30 seconds. Brush the melted butter over the tops of the rolls.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and extra green onions before serving.
