It’s my favorite time of year, rhubarb season!
Growing up in Minnesota, rhubarb cake was a staple in our home, and it quickly became one of my all time favorite treats. If you’re like me and have an abundance of rhubarb to use up over the next few weeks, these best ever rhubarb recipes are here to help you make the most of every delicious stalk!
Rhubarb’s unique tart flavor pairs perfectly with sweet ingredients, making it ideal for pies, crisps, jams, and even savory dishes. It freezes well, too. So if you can’t use it all right away, just chop and freeze for baking later in the year.
Best of all, every recipe in this collection is either one of my own or a cherished family recipe. Some have been passed down and used for over 40 years!
