I'm 100% team apple when fall arrives. Don't get me wrong, I like pumpkin too, but apple is just the best. Today's Caramel Apple Cider recipe is great for any fall occasion, celebration or for Thanksgiving.
It's hot, rich and so comforting. It's a sweet treat for the whole family, since it doesn't have any alcohol. You may want to serve slightly cooled for the kids, to make sure they don't burn themselves. This cider is the perfect caramel apple combo and it's something you'll want to make every fall and winter!

Recipe tips and substitution ideas:
- Slow cooker instructions: To your slow cooker, add a 1/2 gallon apple cider and 1 cup caramel sauce. Heat on low for 2-3 hours, until steamy. Cider will be hot. Before serving, top with whipped cream and caramel sauce.
- Be sure to use fresh pressed apple cider and not the clear, processed apple cider. The flavor and texture will not be the same.
