I'm so glad you stopped by! First off I am sharing an amazing Raspberry Cranberry Sauce and then a Traditional Thanksgiving Progressive Dinner Blog Hop Style.
Raspberry Cranberry Sauceby
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
Combine all ingredients in a medium size saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken, stirring frequently. Using a potato masher, mash the cranberries until you reach the consistency you like. I leave about half my berries whole, and half mashed. Cook for another 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool and serve!
