Raspberry Cranberry Sauce
Yield: 4 servings
ingredients:
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a medium size saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken, stirring frequently.
- Using a potato masher, mash the cranberries until you reach the consistency you like. I leave about half my berries whole, and half mashed.
