I've said it before and I'll say it again, air fryer chicken is the absolute best!

I just love the crispy skin and the inside of the chicken turns out so juicy. The air fryer is also such a timesaver. This chicken along with a side can be ready in about 25 minutes. So perfect for busy days when you want something homemade, but don't have a lot of time.

The chicken is great with just the seasoning, but the barbecue sauce is always a delicious option. Use whichever brand sauce is your favorite, or make some homemade if you have a favorite recipe.

Recipe tips:

  • We own a Ninja air fryer and these cook in about 22 minutes to the crispiness we love! Different air fryer brands may heat differently and drumstick sizes vary, so adjust the time or temperature accordingly, and use a meat thermometer to ensure the cooked temperature is 165 degrees F.
