Perfect Roast Chicken Recipe

Chicken is a great food to make around my house. My daughter loves it, and it's also easy to create a new meal with the leftover chicken. This recipe is called "Perfect Roast Chicken" and I would have to say it totally lives up to it's name!! I've made quite a few different roast chicken recipes and this one is the best by far!

What you need:

1 roasting chicken
1 lemon, cut in half
1 whole bulb of garlic, cut in half
2 Tbsp butter, melted
salt & pepper

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.

Rinse chicken inside and out. Place chicken in a roasting pan. salt and pepper inside of chicken. Cut lemon and garlic bulb in half. Stuff the cavity with lemon and garlic halves. Brush outside of chicken with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Roast the chicken for about an hour and a half or until the juices run clear when you cut between the leg and thigh.
