I can't get enough garlic bread! I love it as an appetizer when we go out to eat and make it as a side often for our favorite pasta meals.

Today's recipe for Slow Cooker Cheesy Garlic Monkey Bread is super simple, full of cheesy garlic flavor and absolutely delicious!

It takes about 10 minutes to prep and less than two hours to cook. The crust comes out nice and browned from the parchment paper liner and the freshly shredded cheese melts so nicely on top.

Parsley is one of my favorites to use when making garlic bread. Fresh or dried works perfectly in this recipe.

This easy slow cooker bread is great served with some pizza or marinara sauce for dipping. It's an affordable recipe for families and kids absolutely love it!

Slow Cooker Cheesy Garlic Monkey Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 - 16.3 ounce can of biscuits (we used buttermilk homestyle)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • dried or fresh chopped parsley for topping, optional

Instructions

  1. Line the bottom of your slow cooker with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each biscuit into 6-8 pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, toss together biscuit pieces, melted butter, and garlic.
  4. Add biscuit mixture to the crock pot, and cook on low for 1 ½ hours, until biscuits are no longer doughy.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and parsley over biscuits, and cook a bit more, until cheese is melted.

Notes

We recommend using freshly shredded cheese whenever possible for better melting and flavor.

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
